To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will set out for 1979–80, 1984–85 and 1989–90 or the latest available figures the number of students (i) in secondary education, (ii) entered for(a) CSE and (b) GCE O levels in (1) drama, (2) music and (3) art, (iii) entered for GCE A levels in each of the above subjects, (iv) receiving individual tuition in a musical instrument and (v) entering (1) drama school, (2) music college and (3) art school.
