§ Mr. SteenTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he hopes to reply to the letter written on 29 December by Mr. Gordon Blower of Kingsland, Brownston Street, Modbury, I vybridge about the property blight resulting from uncertainty regarding the future of the Darenth Park hospital site, Dartford; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Moynihan[holding answer 4 May 1990]: A reply to Mr. Blower's letter of 29 December 1989 was sent by the Department on 2 May 1990. My right hon. Friend is currently awaiting information from the South East Thames regional health authority about their future intentions for the Darenth Park hospital site, but I hope that a decision can be taken soon on the authority's proposals for residential development at the site.
