To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if he will give details of the type of aircraft involved in a low-flying air defence exercise which flew over Mintlaw academy in the Banff and Buchan parliamentary constituency at 9.42 am, 9.52 am and 9.54 am on Thursday 26 April;

(2) if he will give details of the starting point and destination of the exercise in which the aircraft which flew over Mintlaw academy, in the Banff and Buchan constituency, on Thursday 26 April were involved and the aircraft involved.

It is likely that the aircraft concerned were F-16 aircraft of the Royal Danish Air Force participating in exercise Elder Forest 90 which were tasked to carry out simulated attacks against the RAF radar station at Buchan and continue to Tain range in Ross-shire.
