To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give constant emission factors for nitrogen oxides for each of the emission sources listed in table 2.6 of the latest "Digest of Environmental Protection and Water Statistics".

at the 287 sites of the EC Directive network for April 1988-March 1989 have been published by Warren Spring Laboratory in Report No. LR 763 entitled "UK Smoke and Sulphur dioxide monitoring networks: summary tables for April 1988-March 1989". A copy has been placed in the Library.

The seven other sites referred to are part of Warren Spring Laboratory's automatic monitoring network. The location of the sites is shown in figure 2.1 of the Digest of Environmental Protection and Water Statistics, No. 12, 1989. Results for a full year are not yet available.
