§ Mr. Archie HamiltonAs at 31 March 1990, the latest date for which complete figures are available, there were three vacant Ministry of Defence housing properties in Cardiff, amounting to 6.5 per cent. of the total stock; the figures for south Glamorgan as a whole (including Cardiff) are 171 and 19.5 per cent. respectively. The majority of these vacant properties are either undergoing or awaiting major modernisation work, while the remainder have all been allotted to service families who will be moving in shortly.
