§ Mr. NeubertThe pay and conditions of service of dependant locally entered civilians (LECs) in Cyprus, are the subject of regular reviews. Revised pay and conditions awards were implemented for this group of staff in early 1989, following the settlement of awards for MOD's Cypriot work force and teachers employed by the Government of the Republic of Cyprus. These reviews have as the basis local "good employer practice" and pay trends in the Cypriot economy.
