§ Mr. WaddingtonSection 4(5) of the Security Service Act 1989 requires the commissioner to make an annual report on the discharge of his functions under the Act to the Prime Minister: the format and content of the report are matters for the commissioner himself to determine. I understand that Lord Justice Stuart-Smith intends to make his first report as soon as is practicable after the end of this year.
