§ Mr. Alan ClarkIraq is actively engaged in establishing a large industrial infrastructure to support the development of its arms industries. It is pursuing a wide-ranging missile and space programme; it also produces a range of ammunition and small arms and is developing the capacity to produce more sophisticated ground forces equipment.
