§ Mr. Win GriffithsTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his reply of 22 February,Official Report, columns 861–62, if he is now in a position to publish for each county education authority the number of teachers needed to deliver all national curriculum subjects in Welsh secondary schools by teachers with the appropriate subject qualifications.
§ Mr. RobertsA statistical model of the number of teachers needed to deliver the national curriculum in Welsh secondary schools is currently being produced. The model and assumptions which underlie it will be the subject of consultation with local education authorities later this year.
