HC Deb 29 March 1990 vol 170 c256W
Mr. Malcolm Bruce

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why his Department decided not to be represented at the international conference on marine coastal eutrophication from 21 to 24 March.

Mr. Curry

The conference was principally concerned with the problems which are experienced in shallow, static, warm seas such as the Mediterranean. These issues are not relevant to the colder, well mixed waters round the United Kingdom.
