To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list in theOfficial Report those hospitals which have declared an interest in applying for self-governing status.

[holding answer 20 March 1990]: Expressions of interest have been made public by the hospitals at Forfar, the Royal Scottish National hospital

[holding answer 12 March 1990]: The information obtained through the wildlife incident investigation scheme of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland on numbers of birds of prey discovered dead is set out in the table. I understand that the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds also keeps records, but these cannot be compared directly because they are compiled on a different basis. The RSPB totals for the relevant years were 37, 25 and 38.
