To ask the Attorney-General if he will make a statement on no-fault compensation.

§ The Attorney-General
As previously announced. an inter-departmental working party is examining the feasibility of a no-fault compensation scheme, restricted to less serious road accidents and financed by private insurance. I understand that the working party is making good progress and it now expects to report to the Lord Chancellor by early next year.
