(2) when he anticipates incorporating the social fund into the mainframe computer system currently being installed for income support claims.
§ Mr. ScottYes. The present system is providing good support to local offices. We are continually seeking to improve the system and a team is currently working on plans to transfer the social fund on to the mainframe computer as part of the operational strategy. It will report in June 1990. Meanwhile, from April 1990, a new management system for the social fund will be operated using a mainframe computer.
