HC Deb 21 March 1990 vol 169 c630W
Mr. Cambell-Savours

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what is the level of suspended radio nuclides in air in B205, B268 and B30 at Sellafield for each year since 1983 as registered at each non-battery electrically powered air sampling point.

Mr. Baldry

The annual average airborne alpha activity levels in operating areas of B205, B268 and B30, measured by installed air samplers, are given in the table. Activity levels are presented in terms of the intake a worker would receive from the measured activity in the course of a year's work in the plant and are quoted as percentages of the most restrictive annual limit of intake for the particular radionuclide composition on each plant.

this were reported in the Health and Safety Executive's quarterly statement on nuclear incidents dated 24 July 1987.
