§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment (Lord Hesketh)Charging authorities are not required to set the amounts of the personal community charges until 1st April and as yet fewer than one-third of the 366 charging authorities in England have provided the department with this information. Until returns have been received from all authorities it is not possible to say what the highest and lowest community charges for 1990/91 are.
