§ Mr. LilleyIn 1989–90 there are about 7½ million women with earnings taxed under schedule E and their average earnings are approximately £7,750. These estimates include taxpayers with earnings from full-time or part-time work.
The estimates are based on a projection of the 1987–88 survey of personal incomes and are provisional.
