§ Mr. Peter LloydThe High Court found that in the particular circumstances of these applications directions could not be issued requiring removal to Brazil. My right hon. and learned Friend has decided that the Government will not appeal against this judgment and the claims for asylum will now be considered in this country.
We shall keep the position under review in case any changes in procedures, or legislation become necessary.
