Mr. JacksonThe Student Loans Company Ltd. has spent some £3,127,000 inclusive of VAT on preparatory work on the student loans scheme since its formation on 20 November 1989. This expenditure has been funded by the Department of Education and Science in accordance with the estimate approved by Parliament.
