§ Mr. Chope[holding answer 12 March 1990]: Where Departments are considering entering into commercial 190W agreements with the Crown Suppliers, or any other supplier, whether or not they contain undertakings about future business levels for a period, it is for Departments to satisfy themselves that they provide value for money, and for the National Audit Office to decide whether to investigate.
