§ Dr. MawhinneyThe employment of teachers in schools in Northern Ireland will continue to be subject to the normal contracts of employment and the protection afforded by employment legislation. Where a board of governors has the power to require a teacher to cease work at a school the Education Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 lays down clear procedures which must be followed.
