§ Mr. Archie HamiltonA total of 64,294 service personnel and 1,817 MOD civilians are stationed in the Federal Republic of Germany (not including Berlin). The figure for service personnel covers all United Kingdom regular forces, male and female. Army personnel from BAOR on emergency tours in Northern Ireland are included in the figures, but personnel on short tours elsewhere are not.
