§ Mr. Michael MorrisTo ask the Secretary of State for Health whether general practitioners whose computer arrangements are with AAH Meditel will he eligible for the 50 per cent. reimbursement of costs for maintenance, lease or upgrading costs due to commence on 1 April.
§ Mr. FreemanIt is proposed that direct reimbursement will not be made for leasing and maintenance payments where the practitioner receives a payment from the system supplier, whether or not that payment relates to the leasing agreement or is in respect of any other service or information supplied. For other expenses, direct reimbursement will be made to general practitioners who meet the full costs themselves, based on their individual circumstances.
