§ Mr. TrippierOrganisation of events relating to Earth Day in this country is being handled by a range of environmental groups, including Friends of the Earth. We welcome all genuine efforts to improve public understanding of environmental issues, but we have no plans for direct Government involvement in Earth Day events.
