§ Mr. CurryThe new research body for apples and pears, the Apple and Pear Research Council, which came into being at the end of last year, has got off to an energetic start. It has already held an open meeting to which all 835W growers were invited in order to ensure that growers' views are fully taken into account in assessing the council's research priorities.
