Mr. Andrew Smith

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will publish(a) the target intake figures for each polytechnic or college education department of faculty for 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990, and (b) the actual intake in each case for 1987, 1988 and 1989.
