§ 94. Mr. AshbyTo ask the Minister for the Arts what representations he has received concerning the funding of opera in England.
§ Mr. LuceI have received a number of such representations. It is however a matter for the Arts Council to determine how much of its grant is spent on opera. In 1990–91 I am advised that this will be over £22 million, including touring.
