HC Deb 05 March 1990 vol 168 c409W
Mr. Denzil Davies

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many new junior doctors are intended to be recruited for the new Llanelli general hospital.

Mr. Grist

The staffing levels of the new Llanelli general hospital are primarily a matter for the health authority to decide within the resources available to it, subject to the normal arrangements for the appointment of junior staff within the framework of the "Achieving A Balance" agreement between the Health Departments, the professional and the NHS for the reform of the hospital medical staffing structure.
