Dr. ThomasTo ask the Prime Minister what current involvement the United Kingdom has in(a) the international geosphere-biosphere project and (b) the world climate research programme, in regard to research conducted into global warming and the greenhouse effect.
§ The Prime MinisterI refer the hon. Member to the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology's report on the greenhouse effect which gives full details of the important contribution the research councils and the Meteorological Office are making to these international research programmes.
