§ Mr. NeedhamSince 1983 private sector commercial investment in Londonderry has totalled some £40 million either spent, under way or projected on local retail, offices, shops, restaurants and hotel developments. The most welcome recent proposed commercial development is the announcement of a substantial investment in a major town centre shopping complex together with a proposed new hotel development.
