§ Mr. LangTraining agents provide an independent source of guidance and support to trainees recruited directly by a training manager on, for example, issues causing dissatisfaction or where trainees wish to change their training objectives. To ensure that this independent brokerage role is fully accessible to trainees who have been directly recruited by training managers, the Training Agency pays a flat fee of £10 to training agents in respect of each such trainee who remains in employment training for more than six days and for whom an action plan has been lodged with the training agent.
