§ Mr. PortilloCircular 7/90 reminds local authorities in greater detail of their obligations under the treaty of Rome and the EC works and supplies contract directives, set out in DOE circulars 59/73 and 6/89, and imposes no new or added responsibilities or burdens.
The Department has had a small number of telephone inquiries from local authorities on the application of tender specifications to particular contracts.
