§ Mr. CurryThe largest green pound discrepancies for the cereals sector in the periods referred to by my hon. Friend, as measured by the percentage monetary compensatory amount (MCA), were 45.0 per cent. in November 1976 and 32.8 per cent. in February 1987.
The largest devaluation of the green pound for cereals was 9.75 per cent. in August 1979.
