HC Deb 27 June 1990 vol 175 c215W
Mr. Spearing

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what limit he can impose on the amounts that firms situated in enterprise zones may offset against any taxable benefit tied to that location in respect of their activities, or that of any of their subsidiaries making losses at locations outside that zone.

Mr. Lilley

The tax reliefs which are available to businesses in enterprise zones are governed by legislation and my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer has no proposals for any change in the rules.
