§ Mr. HowardThe Employment Bill, which is currently being considered in another place, includes provisions which will make it unlawful for an employer to refuse to employ a person because he is, or is not, a member of a trade union. We expect the Bill to become law before the end of this Session and intend that individuals seeking employment should have the benefit of this important protection as soon as is practicable after Royal Assent.
