§ Mr. NichollsThe March 1989 Green Paper "Removing Barriers to Employment" (Cm. 655) proposed changes to the present law to make it unlawful to induce industrial action by workers of an employer not party to a trade dispute except in the case of lawful picketing. The current Employment Bill, which had its Second Reading in another place on 15 June, contains provisions which will bring those changes into effect.
