§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyIn 1982, a total of 295,383 women received contraceptive services from general practitioners in Greater London compared with 374,560 in 1988.
In 1982, the number of people seen in family planning clinics in Greater London was 353,320 compared with 294,629 in 1988–89. The breakdown for each district health authority in Greater London is shown in the following table:
