§ Mr. McLoughlinMy right hon. Friend meets the chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority from time to time and discusses, among other things, the Civil Aviation Authority's resources. However, the detailed allocation of those resources is a matter for the Civil Aviation Authority, which has the statutory responsibility for the safety regulation of civil aviation.
