Mr. Wigley

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many and what percentage of persons aged 65 years and over received home help service in each local authority in Wales since 1980; and what estimate he has made of the likely change in these figures as a result of changes in community care.

Changes in patterns and volumes of care will take place on the basis of social care plans which are to be produced by social services authorities working with health authorities and other interests and which are to be published by April 1991.
