§ Mr. ForthThe European Commission directive on package travel, package holidays and package tours was adopted by the Council of Ministers on 13 June this year. Under this measure, member states are required to ensure that the organiser and/or retailer of packages is liable to the consumer for the proper performance of obligations arising under the contract.
