§ Mr. Win GriffithsTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects the European Court of Justice to present its preliminary verdict on the infringement procedures initiated by the Commission against the United Kingdom Government and other member states concerning the implementation of directive 76/160 on bathing water quality and directive 80/778 on drinking water quality.
§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryHer Majesty's Government have received no indication from the European Court of Justice of when it intends to take further action on the cases currently before the court in relation to these two directives.
