§ Sir Geoffrey HoweThe Services Committee resolved in February 1987 that smoking should not be allowed in lifts and instructed that notices to that effect should be displayed. The question of imposing such a ban in telephone kiosks has not yet been addressed and I shall arrange for it to be referred to the Accommodation and Administration Sub-Committee.
