Whether they will publish the cash figures approved under Section 42 of the Education Reform Act for (a) the value of local authority education budgets, (b) the value of their general schools budgets, (c) the value of their mandatory exceptions, (d) the value of their discretionary exceptions, and (e) the value of their aggregate schools budget.
§ Baroness Blatch: My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science is still receiving budget statements prepared under Section 42 of the Education Reform Act from local education authorities. As soon as he has received the great majority of returns the information requested by my noble friend will be published.
