§ Mr. Douglas HoggMy Department is the major source of funds for the Devon and Cornwall Development Bureau (DCDB), the regional development body for Devon and Cornwall. To assist DCDB in its activities, I announced on 8 March that it would be offered grant of £510,000 in 1990–91. This is an increase of 21 per cent. on the 1989–90 grant of £422,000 and will allow DCDB to devote extra resources towards encouraging inward investment. This grant provides 72 per cent. of DCDB's total funding.
