§ Mr. ChopeThe Government have no plans to introduce measures to control business rents. These are matters for negotiation between landlord and tenant. Information about changes in rental levels is already available; in addition we monitor the situation under the main legislation for business tenancies—part II of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
