§ Mr. Peter LloydMy right hon. and learned Friend is attending meetings of Trevi Ministers in Dublin today and tomorrow at which progress is strengthening police co-operation with a view to the implementation of the single European market will be reviewed. The Government are strongly committed to such co-operation, while believing that checks at United Kingdom ports and airports will continue to play a necessary part in combatting terrorism, drug trafficking and other crimes.
