§ Mr. TrippierThe Government make no estimate of future imports of hazardous waste into the United Kingdom. However, it is expected that imports from other EC member states will reduce in future years following the Council of Environment Ministers' decision in Luxembourg on 7 June 1990 that member states must aim to be self-sufficient in waste disposal.
