§ Mr. RedwoodWe have no plans to legislate in respect of chartered accountants in particular or the accountancy profession in general. However, the implementation of part II of the Companies Act 1989 and of Directive 89/48/EEC on the mutual recognition of professional qualifications will affect parts of the accountancy profession, including chartered accountants.
