§ Mr. ForthEvery effort is made to send prompt replies to all letters asking questions, seeking information or212W raising issues about product safety. The views of a wide range of trade associations, consumer bodies and representative organisations are sought by the Department on matters relating to product safety. These views are always taken into account but not all such correspondence requires an individual response. If the hon. Member is concerned about a specific case, perhaps he would let me have the details so that I can investigate the matter.
