Mr. Austin Mitchell

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what information he has of the total cost to public funds on an absolute and per-employee basis of support for manufacturing industry and on both national and regional levels in the five most recently available years in(a) France, (b) West Germany, (c) Italy, (d) Denmark and (e) the United Kingdom.
