§ Sir Geoffrey HoweIn the 12-month period from 1 May 1989 to 30 April 1990 the Committee undertook two visits overseas. In May 1989 for a visit to Paris the Committee flew by British Airways, except for three Members who, for the return journey, flew by Air France to London, Birmingham and Manchester respectively. In March 1990 the Committee visited Heidelberg, Grenoble and Geneva, flying from London to Frankfurt and from Geneva to London by British Airways, except that on the outward journey two Members flew by Lufthansa and on the return journey one Member flew by British Airways from Geneva to Manchester.
